He is one of the key members to establish ECMO programme in the unit which has led the centre to be recognised as ECMO referral centre. He also has gained vast experience by working at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia Areas of expertise : Expertised in Multidisciplinary intensive care management including ECMO Cannulation, Haemodynamic Monitoring, Renal replacement Therapy, Ultrasound Guided Procedures and Diagnostics, Percutaneous Tracheostomy, Chest tube Placement, Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy and Difficult Airway Management, Echocardiography, IABP Insertion and Monitoring, Pacemaker Insertion, Pericardiocentesis, Pulmonary Artery Catheter Insertion and ECMO management. He is involved in Advanced Cardiac Life Support sessions, Infection control with Antibiotic Stewardship, End of life care decisions and also Organ Donation initiative. He is executive committee member of The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Bangalore chapter and has also been part of critical care conferences and educational activities organised under the aegis of ISCCM. He holds several publications and has delivered many lectures in national conference and currently guides 6 critical care students under national board in critical care speciality.
